The Walking Dead: 11 Actors In Surprising Early Roles
3. Steven Yeun (Glen Rhee) The Big Bang Theory
Since Glen, played by Steven Yeun, hooked up with Maggie, he has become the type of guy you wouldnt want to get on the wrong side of. In recent times we have seen Glen assert his authority within the group of survivors and blast his way through many a zombie foolish enough to cross him (often times clad in that trusty riot gear). The less mature, geeky pizza delivery boy who saved Rick from a slow death starving in the interior of that tank seems to be no more. Glen's transformation from tentative geek to assertive alpha seems to have had an impact on Steven Yeun in reality, as the scrawny actor who debuted back in 2010 seems to have put in a fair amount of time in the gym packing on some muscle. It seems the experience of getting tortured at the hands of Merle or perhaps wanting to impress Maggie made Glen want to beef-up. If you want a reminder of how Glen used to be but have already re-watched The Walking Deads first season an embarrassing number of times, you need look no further than The Big Bang Theory. Steven Yeun appears in the twenty-second episode of the shows third season entitled The Staircase Implementation. He has a brief role as Sheldons former roommate and warns Leonard to "run away, dude". Steven Yeuns characters are always expert runners, it seems.
