Daryl is without question one of the most popular characters on The Walking Dead and is widely praised as being the show's best amendment to the comic books, in which he does not feature. Daryl is known for being the crossbow toting, sensitive-tough guy with a heart of gold. In the latter stages of the fourth series Daryl became disillusioned with the world after the mysterious abduction of his travelling companion Beth Greene. This breakdown results in Daryl going off the rails, travelling with a marauding group of bandits who unbeknownst to Daryl are on the hunt for Rick and will eventually try to rape poor Carl. As well as having his guts torn out prior to The Walking Dead in Pandorum - an image of which was circulated to annoy fans who wrongly assumed it showed Daryl's death, Reedus has also been in several popular music videos. He has featured in videos by the likes of Bjork, REM and Radiohead with the most recent one being Judas by Lady Gaga in which he plays the titular traitor. Daryl is also known as something of a heart throb so its no surprise that Reedus has been featured in several modelling campaigns too, including high-profile campaigns for Alessandro DellAcqua, Levis, Lexus and even fashion-gods Prada.
