5. Dale Getting Ripped Apart By A Zombie Who Couldn't Hold Carl's Foot

Dale's main job in The Walking Dead appeared to be acting as the angel on Rick's shoulder, reminding him of seemingly trivial things like basic human decency. Unfortunately all that moral encouragement dulled the poor guy's senses to the extent that he doesn't notice a walker sneaking up on him, a fact made all the more embarrassing when you realise Dale's in a wide-open space with precious little noise to mask the walker's pursuit. But still, he gets wrestled to the ground, and here's the important bit prized open like a treasure chest. Now you might think nothing was wrong with this scene we all know walkers can be pretty powerful adversaries, and they possess vice-like grips. However, the strength seems to vary from walker to walker, and this particular one had set itself up to be something of a weakling when we first encountered him. As I'm sure everyone knows now, this walker was the one Carl earlier refrained from shooting. But more importantly, he managed to shake it off when it got a hold of him. If you take into account what it managed to do to Dale a fully-grown man who was stronger than Carl you've got wonder why the walker couldn't just snap the Grimes child's leg like a twig. After all, it's shown to have monstrous power in its limbs, so how come it couldn't hold onto a child, yet tear a man apart?
