The Walking Dead: 13 Things That Make No Damn Sense

4. Daryl's Hands Being Clean After The Boot Murder

Walking Dead Daryl Double As the writers keep wishing to make apparent, Daryl is all sorts of formidable in a walker-fight. He gets to prove this true-ism once more during the events of Home, where he and his brother Merle leave the prison and attempt to make it on their lonesome. On their travels, they discover a family being assaulted by large group of walkers. Daryl being Daryl, he decides to lend a hand and save those affected from their desperate situation, and Merle being Merle, does sweet Fanny Adams. I guess it left more time for Daryl to grab the badass torch and run with it, which is what he does here. He crossbows a bunch of walkers, crushes another's head against a car door and runs round the back. He then drags another away from a screaming mother and baby and crushes its head with the boot. It's bloody, grim and fantastic €“ the sort of spectacle TWD lives to give. Yet despite getting blood all over himself in the act, when he turns round his hands are truly spotless. I know Daryl's so awesome that everything's afraid of his ass-kicking mode, but why is blood scarpering off his now-pristine hands? The answer is it isn't €“ while Daryl is awesome and everyone and everything should be afraid of him, the simple answer is that the filming crew accidentally ballsed up. Yet it's still an awesome kill, so there's always that to take away.
