3. How Sophia Got In The Barn

This mistake's more hypothetical, but please, bear with me. The main revelation of the season 2's mid-run finale is that Sophia isn't alive she's actually a walker in Hershel's barn. It's a surprise that knocks you for six, and gives a meandering run of episodes a real dramatic punch. But the more you think about it, the more you have to ask who the hell put her in there? According to Hershel it was Otis, the man of many talents who made the Greene farm's world go round. But how could he do it? After all, when we first come across Otis, it's the morning after the night Sophia goes missing. If we take Hershel at his word, this only gives Otis a very, very small window of opportunity to snag walker Sophia and put her in the barn. As a result, the capture would be fresh in his mind when the group mention a missing little girl, and Otis, as a seasoned zombie-catcher, will know that she's very freshly dead. It's not hard for him to put two-and-two together, but he just doesn't. Personally, I think that's strange it's one thing trying to build toward a dramatic revelation come the mid-finale, but when the possible solution to the mystery should've been stumbled upon in episode two (because again, who else could've possibly found Sophia), you're just left with questions.
