The Walking Dead: 4 Things "Consumed" Got Right (And 6 It Didn't)

1. Cliffhanger!

That was probably also the strongest ending to an episode The Walking Dead's managed so far this season. In fact, it's the third in a series of increasingly awesome cliffhangers that began with Slabtown (Beth watching Noah escape, before being dragged back to the hospital) and then last week's Self Help (the revelation that Eugene isn't actually a government scientist, and his mission to drag half the group over to Washington was a wild goose chase). All of which were entirely necessary after the way the season started. The showdown with Terminus was intense, but it ended rather quickly. Then the Grimes Brigade ended up being pretty settled for the first time since the show began, hanging out at the church, planning their next move. Now the gears are grinding back to life, with multiple balls in the air for what could happen next: what will the Washington group do? Will the Terminus lot be back? And how badass is it going to be when Daryl and Noah recruit everybody else to storm the hospital to get back Carol and Beth? (The answer to the last one is fairly obvious, and boy is that exciting).
