The Walking Dead 5.7 Review - 5 Talking Points From "Crossed"
3. Gabriel Flees The Church
Viewers thought it would be d*mn near impossible for The Walking Dead to ever create a character more annoying and worthy of being the main course in an undead feeding frenzy than Lori Grimes. Well, they're really, really trying and they've almost done it. Look, fair enough Gabriel is sad that his church is longer a sanctuary full of the holy spirit and all that, but it's time for dude to man up and start becoming a part of the world he's plagued with. Ever since his introduction, all he's done is pout, whine and be completely useless, and all the while Rick's group has tried to be helpful. They've took the men who violated his sacred church with intent to eat people and turned them into chilli meat, they've walker-proofed the entire building and now they're even attempting to teach him how not be such a wimp and defend himself. So instead Father Gabriel decides to dig his way out of his own church and flee into the woods unarmed, where of course he immediately gets attacked. Please die already.
