5. Judith Grimes

It may well make me sound like a monster, but I do genuinely wish that Judith had actually been killed off at the midseason finale. Of course, it was never going to happen in such mysterious circumstances as a bloodied car seat and nothing else, and she was definitely going to reappear later on to the surprise of literally no one, but I feel it could have been an opportunity missed. Whilst Judith's appearance in the tenth episode provided an enormous amount of tension, thanks to the fact that babies don't give the slightest of iotas about whether the shuffling undead are nearby, if they want anything at all, they're going to scream as loud as they can in order to get. Thus, zombies come calling when babies get hungry, I'm sure there's an odd poetic value to that. But so far Judith's involvement in the series has been limited and somewhat inhibitive towards other characters; the more she is included in the show means that at least one character is going to have to be sidetracked to provide the excuse that someone was watching the baby, hence why Beth did almost nothing for the last season and a half. An outside bet for Judith's fate could be the aforementioned crazy streak undertaken by Lizzie, should her sister be killed at some point. Lizzie has already almost suffocated the baby in the name of self preservation, and the "enemy within" storyline has never yet been explored if the danger was in fact coming from a child.
