2. Romantic Avenues
Throughout the series, there have been multiple romantic relationships. Romance is a staple in modern television and film. But many of the characters participating in the romances have been killed off. At this point, Maggie and Glenn are the only stable couple left in the series. I cant help but feel that the writers are going to be looking for more sources of romantic story lines. If characters just start jumping into each others arms, however, these may come across as very inauthentic. Many of the primary characters left from the first and second season do not fit the bill for a Romeo or a Juliet; they've all been taken at some point (Rick had Lori and Carol lost her husband) or else they've been established as fiercely independent (Daryl). I'm concerned, nonetheless, that some of these primary characters are going to be forced into romantic relationships with some newcomers. After seasons of development, a kiss for one of these characters may be a large bite out of their established traits.
