The Walking Dead Season 4: 10 Reasons To Be Concerned

4. Walking By The Walkers

C02cb71ce57882ff2cf141fce6241f2d Staying in the prison, the group is content with rebuilding a civilization rather than trying to discover if any still remains outside. They€™re keeping the problem at a distance instead of facing it head on. This may hinge on a personal preference, but they should be out trying to find answers and solutions. They€™re keeping the walkers at bay when they could be demonstrating some sort of action. Let€™s research the walkers and the state of the world a little bit more before we call it quits. The walkers are a character in the same right as every member of the group; as such, they deserve the same depth and development. I've already outlined my concern that the walkers are blending into fences and jail cells, but my concern isn't only superficial. The walkers and their apocalyptic world need to evolve before they reach a stale mate with the prison. They€™re walkers, they should be moving forward. I'm eager to see how the radio transmission in Isolation (S4 E03) pans out. If the group is meeting new people, this provides an excellent platform for new information. It can place the group on a more interesting track to follow rather than remaining on track to a stale mate in the prison.
