The Walking Dead Season 5: 10 Things We Learned From The New Trailer

5. The Refugees Reunite

While Beth looks to be off in her own plot for a while, there are still groups of survivors that need reuniting: Team Boxcar with Carol, Tyreese, and baby Judith. This reunion has been one of the most eagerly awaited events since the fall of the prison. Only a handful of people actually know the circumstances of Rick's ultimatum to Carol or why she was not with them when the Governor attacked, and Daryl at least wasn't too happy about her fate. Rick may be forced to eat his words about not trusting Carol around his children, especially in light of Tyreese's surprising forgiveness of her. Viewers everywhere spent the second half of Season 4 just hoping that none of them would die before meeting up again.
And they don't! Of course, there's no saying how long any of them will manage to not die after the reunion, but they'll live long enough to clear the air and maybe find some closure. With any luck, the reunion of Judith with Carl and Rick may provide a rare heartwarming moment on The Walking Dead. Judging by a shot of Carol with a bit of red Georgia clay camouflage, she may even play a role in scouting Terminus and Team Boxcar's escape.
