WandaVision: 10 Biggest New Reveals From EW's Cover Story And Stills
8. The Show Will Explore The Full Extent Of The Scarlet Witch's Powers
Elizabeth Olsen has been playing the Scarlet Witch since 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, but WandaVision reportedly gives the actress the chance to explore both the character's past and the full extent of what the magazine describes as her "telekinetic powers."
Previously described by Kevin Feige as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most powerful character, he reportedly managed to sell the actress on the show by referencing a number of specific Scarlet Witch comic book storylines (none of which she would reveal for fear of spoilers).
"It’s been the biggest gift that Marvel’s given me, getting to do this show," Olsen says. "You get to just focus on her and not how she felt through everyone else’s story lines."
"I already felt like I had ownership of her because Marvel always encourages you to be part of the process," she continues. "But even more so now, I feel I have a really strong sense of ownership. If anyone wanted to ask me a question about the future or just a question about what she would think, I feel like this time has provided that." Clearly, this series will offer a deep dive into all-things Wanda.
