WandaVision: 10 Biggest New Reveals From EW's Cover Story And Stills

7. It's Basically A Six-Hour Movie

It sounds like WandaVision will run for a total of six episodes as it was repeatedly compared to a six-hour movie in Entertainment Weekly's coverage. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki are both rumoured to be getting six episode runs too, so this isn't overly surprising, and it seemingly the magic number for Marvel Studios' Disney+ TV shows.

"It’s really incredible to be able to tell a long-form story the way the comics did," co-executive producer Mary Livanos says. "In a sense, [a TV show] is a multi-issue comic-book run, which is something that, from the Marvel development side, we totally do understand."

Star Teyonah Parris adds to that, stating: "I was like, ‘Oh, I thought we were doing a little show,’ but no, it’s six Marvel movies packed into what they’re presenting as a sitcom."

That definitely sounds like the right approach to a series like WandaVision, and like The Mandalorian, it's clear that Disney isn't cutting costs when it comes to delivering an experience which feels the same as the one fans have in cinemas.
