2. Wonder Man (Simon Williams)

This character would not come as a surprise to die-hard Marvel Comics fans, but to those that have less of a wider knowledge of the Marvel canon, Wonder Man may seem rather obscure.

Wonder Man, a.k.a Simon Williams, was originally a villain, deadset on destroying the Avengers after being manipulated by Baron Zemo. However, after a change of heart, Williams seemingly loses his life in saving 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes' - this leads to Tony Stark keeping Williams' brainwaves stored, later using them to create Vision.

Believe it or not, we may have already seen our first tease for Wonder Man's appearance in WandaVision already. In the opening credits of Episode 2, as Vision phases through the floor, we can see a glimpse of the helmet belonging to Grim Reaper; Wonder Man's brother. Eric Williams becomes the Grim Reaper after his brother's apparent death at the fault of the Avengers, leading Williams to become all-consumed with his desire to destroy the heroes.

To add fuel to the flames, Marvel Studios uploaded a featurette discussing the story surrounding WandaVision, with the Head Writer (Jac Schaeffer) featuring as a talking head detailing the plans going forward. In her footage, a picture of Wonder Man can be clearly seen behind her, which set the rumour mill ablaze, with theorists expecting an MCU debut for Simon Williams.

Whether 'Mr. Muscles' appears as a cameo citizen in Westview, or as a fully-fledged hero, that remains to be seen. Wonder Man's appearance seems to be one of the most likely, besides perhaps one other...
