3. Interest in Wanda and Vision

While the demon references could swing many to believing that Dottie is being set up for the villainous role, the comments alone may not be enough to confirm that she is a form taken by the devil himself. However, her interest in Wanda and Vision could be a keen component in unravelling her true identity as Mephisto.

She states to Wanda in a very tense and frightening scene that she knows things about both Wanda and Vision - mainly she knows their secrets. While this could be mainly used as a scare tactic to intimidate her new neighbour, it could also be used as adding more fuel to the fire on claims that Mephisto is lurking and his appearance relates to Dottie.

Dottie could know all about the pair due to her true identity, and the reveal that she has put them in this reality for some nefarious purpose. The talent show could also be showcased as Mephisto auditioning Wanda and Vision, gathering intel on their abilities. This theory is backed due to Dottie warming up to the pair after they stumble their way through their act.

Another key element relating back to the talent show could be that it is claimed to be "for the children." While this could be seen as the talent show supporting something to do with the non-existent children of Westview, could it actually mean that the prize the unusual couple received was not the trophy, but actually Wanda's pregnancy, like a contest "for the children." While it requires a bit of an explanation and is a stretch, the theory certainly is plausible.
