WandaVision: 8 Characters Who Could Still Make A Shocking Appearance

Compared to her fellow Avengers, Carol Danvers is a relatively newcomer to the MCU. However, thanks to her appearances in her solo movie and Avengers: Endgame, she has become easily one of the strongest characters ever introduced, and looks likely to be integral to the future of the franchise.

There is arguably only one other Avenger that could match her power, and she is currently living in Westview with every single resident at the mercy of her every whim. A showdown between the two Infinity Stone powered Avengers would certainly make for a shocking conclusion to the MCU's first series on Disney+, and there is a way it could happen.

One character who has been both trapped by Wanda and a victim of her awesome power is Monica Rambeau, AKA Lieutenant Trouble. Monica looked to Carol as her cool aunt in her early life and even helped pick the red and blue colours of her costume, but clearly there is a deeper level to their relationship.

When Jimmy and Darcy started talking about Captain Marvel, Monica changed the subject as quickly as possible. It may be that they have had a falling out, or maybe Monica is upset that Carol hasn't reached out since returning to Earth three weeks prior. This could all be the beginning of the build-up to Captain Marvel 2, but it's hard to believe Carol didn't give Maria and Monica a pager similar to the one she gave Fury, and if things truly start to get out of control in Westview, the SWORD agent may have no choice but to make that call.
