WandaVision: 8 Characters Who Could Still Make A Shocking Appearance
5. Doctor Strange
When WandaVision was first announced all those months ago, Kevin Feige immediately let fans know that it would tie directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Elizabeth Olsen is confirmed to be reprising her role in 2022 alongside Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorcerer Supreme, but how exactly could it all connect?
Straight away theories started to try and explain the connection between the two projects, but it took five episodes before fans were given any hint as to what it actually could be. Evan Peters' appearance has certainly teased the establishment of the multiverse, but even so there is currently no confirmation that this is the same character that Peters played in the X-Men movies.
So while Wanda is confirmed to appear in the Doctor Strange sequel, there is still no clear link between the two characters, and little to suggest how or when the Sorcerer Supreme will insert himself into Wanda's situation.
Surely, something will happen in the remaining four episodes to properly link the two properties, and a cameo from Stephen himself would make a lot of sense. Kevin Feige has advised fans that they will need to watch WandaVision to make sense of Doctor Strange 2, and this could be why. There are already those theorising that Stephen may already be in Westview under the guise of Dr. Nielsen, and if this is the case, it's only a matter of time before he reveals himself and confronts Wanda.
