Wandavision: Every Episode Ranked
5. Breaking the Fourth Wall
It was Agatha All Along!
Though many comic book readers had been predicting that Agnes was actually AGatha HarkNESs, the reveal still stuck the landing. Despite being predictable, the twist still managed to be a shock. Plus, the song "Agatha All Along" is the series' best piece of music, with Agatha's joyful villainy on full display.
Although the twist is one of the best moments in all of Wandavision, a few other plotlines fall flat. The Vision and Darcy sequences feel too trivial to land, and their meeting at the circus felt out of place. Additionally, given that Wanda's main desire in this episode is to stay at home doing nothing, she's not as funny as she usually is.
However, a few well executed Modern Family and The Office-esq talking heads help elevate the episode, and the development of Monica's powers is a satisfying delight.
Breaking the Fourth Wall is an episode with low lows but high highs, landing it right in the middle of this ranking.
