4. The Series Finale

The series finale, simply titled The Series Finale, is an action heavy ending to Wandavision. Wanda fights Agatha, Vision fights White Vision, and the episode fights fan expectations. Despite countless fan theories as to the identity of "Fietro," he turned out to be...some guy named Ralph who just so happened to look just like the Quicksilver from the X-Men films. And while Paul Bettany teased the episode would feature an actor he's "always wanted to work with," it turns out that he was referring to himself as a second version of Vision. Though some fans expected a Multiverse and an Ian McKellen or Patrick Stewart cameo, these unexpectedly expected answers are kind of funny.

This is also the episode where Wanda becomes The Scarlet Witch. She uses this new power to easily defeat Agatha, and casts runes on the Hex, meaning she is the only witch able to cast spells inside. Vision's defeat of White Vision using the Ship of Theseus thought experiment was also satisfying, as was seeing Wanda, Vision, Billy, Tommy, and eventually Monica team up, all with superpowers, to take on both Agatha and SWORD.

However, despite the action and the twists (or lack thereof), the real best part of the series finale was the emotional moment when Wanda shuts down the Hex to save the residents of Westview, and in doing so sacrifices Vision, Billy and Tommy. It's hard not to to cry when Wanda thanks the boys for "choosing her to be their mom," and her final sequence with Vision is beautiful, with stellar performances from Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany.

Thankfully, this series finale is only just the beginning of Wanda's story in the MCU.
