Watch: Agents Of SHIELD Viral Teaser Video Features The Hulk

ZZ51DFC7A8-550x238 Alongside news that ABC has decided to pick up Marvel's TV spin-off Agents of SHIELD comes the briefest of video teases for the show, which is due to debut this Fall. ABC's YouTube page briefly posted the below video before pulling it, meaning it was either an accident or a cagey way to drum up interest in the mystique of the show. The viral video shows blurry, distant footage of The Incredible Hulk (or as some have speculated, possibly The Abomination) causing mayhem, during what appears to be their stand-off from the 2008 Edward Norton-starring The Incredible Hulk. A logo on the right-hand side of the screen reads "Rising Tide" - who, or what, exactly, does this mean? ALL VIDS SEEM TO HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM YOUTUBE! Though this is likely just a tease to get people more interested in the series, could it be an indication of the wider plan, to reference significant events in films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, perhaps even bringing the actors in for occasional cameo appearances? Either way, it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that Marvel are going to use the key figures of the MCU to promote the series; expect to see this a lot more in the coming months. The pilot episode of Agents of SHIELD was co-written and directed by nerd-God Joss Whedon himself, so naturally expectations are very high that he will deliver something on par with both The Avengers and his other esteemed TV work, namely Buffy and Firefly. Clark Gregg is set to return as Agent Phil Coulson, though many questions marks surrounding that still persist. The fact that the show appears to reference past events would certainly suggest that Gregg's appearances might be limited to the pre-Avengers timeline. Are you hyped for Agents of SHIELD?
