Westworld: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
Doesn't look like anything to me...
HBO had high aspirations for Westworld after the massive success of Game of Thrones, and luckily for them their investment paid off. Based on the classic Michael Crichton film of the same name, this reimagining has been a hit for the network and has sent hoards of intrigued fans online in search of clues for whats to come.
Audiences were fascinated by the series and clamored to solve its many intricate puzzles. Although Westworld's mysteries are incredibly captivating, this aspect seems to have taken precedent over the some of the show's other qualities, including its fantastic characters.
Westworld has an impressive ensemble cast and some truly unforgettable characters. Not every character was outstanding, as unfortunately some were underutilized and a few were just plain bad. That being said, the majority of the show's characters were interesting and well rounded.
Regardless of their individual quality, each main character on the show feels unique and distinct from one another, and that is one of Westworld's greatest accomplishments.
And in case you haven't watched the series yet please be aware that spoilers follow.
16. Lee Sizemore
Lee Sizemore is easily the worst character on Westworld.
The narrative director of the park is arrogant and annoying, and just because that was intentional does not make it forgivable. Lee's personality is only ever one of three statuses: complacent, aggravated, or confused. And it gets old real fast.
Simon Quartertman does his best with the role and is effectively irritating, but the character is too one dimensional to elicit any emotion that isn't annoyance. One can only hope that in the next season the writers either give Sizemore some much needed depth, or just kill him off early and move on.
