Moving on from the setup of last week, Chestnut does a great job of building on that and slowly peeling back more of the layers of Westworld.

As two newcomers pull into Sweetwater, there's a mention of how big the place is, and of never seeing what the whole thing looks like, which really shows off the scope of the theme park, and the almost endless possibilities that exist within.

We also get some very telling scenes between Bernard and Robert, which aside from being compelling help shine a light on the development of the park, what's going on, and how they want to approach what's going on. We also get to see more of the Delos facility and what's happening to the old hosts (though without necessarily getting any real answers), in particular when Maeve attempts to break free. There's a lot going on in Westworld, both in the park itself and the people behind it, and episode 2 does a great job of adding more depth and detail to that.
