6. The Zombies Became Galactus
After Magneto destroyed the interdimensional device, the undead superheroes and supervillains seemingly ran out of food. Although they could survive indefinitely without eating, the hunger pangs were too much for the living dead to endure. Even though they considered eating other zombies, that idea was dismissed when they realised how gross they taste.
As they deliberated on their next course of action, they noticed the Silver Surfer had appeared in the sky. The Surfer then announced his master, Galactus, would arrive shortly to consume their planet. By this point, the zombies were so ravenous, they couldn't care less about the Surfer's claims, and instead, devoured him.
After munching on the Surfer's flesh, the zombified superheroes absorbed his energy, granting them with the Power Cosmic. By the time Galactus arrived on Earth, the zombies had built a machine that harnessed their cosmic energy and directed it towards the Devourer of Worlds. With Galactus badly injured, the zombies ripped him apart and ingested his godlike power.
After obtaining his abilities, the zombies were transformed into The Galacti. As Galactus once did, the cosmic zombies travelled the universe, consuming every civilisation they could find.
