7. Magneto Was The Original Hero
As Ultimate Reed was about to be devoured by the Frightful Four, he was saved by one of the few people who hadn't been zombified - Magneto.
At first, Reed was a little confused why the Master of Magnetism was helping him since malevolent mutant had dedicated most of his life to destroying humanity. But after the zombie infection consumed most of the world's population, including Magneto's children, he was forced to ally with the very same humans he used to hate. Creating an underground refuge, Mags hid the survivors there while he searched the city for medicine, food, and supplies.
Even though Magneto has the opportunity to escape his decrepit world by heading to the Ultimate universe, he chose to stay behind to ensure the zombies didn't use Reed's interdimensional device.
Because Magneto is one of the most well-known supervillains of all time, it was odd but refreshing to see him willingly die to protect mankind. Also, having him as a hero highlighted the desperation of the survivors, since they were willing to ally with anyone to stand a chance against the undead.
