The 31 roles Alison Brie plays on BoJack Horseman is second only to her on screen ex-husband Paul F. Tompkins, who clocks in at 34. She does, however, have two more episodes than him, so it appears to balance out.
Of her characters though, Diane is clearly the standout, even if Vincent Adultman is a cult fan favourite too.
Diane enters as BoJack’s ghost writer and Mr PB’s girlfriend, but soon grows to be one of the show’s most important characters. Although her self righteousness hasn’t won her universal acclaim, she is probably the biggest factor in BoJack finally getting help.
It appears she’s getting better herself too, moving to be with Guy and finally starting her antidepressants.
Alison Brie herself has been a television mainstay for years, starring in Community and Mad Men, as well as appearances in Scream 4, The Lego Movie, a string of romcoms and most recently, wrestling dramedy GLOW.
