Mother's Milk (or M.M) is the unofficial second-in-command of The Boys, and in many ways the wholesome heart of the team, aside from his slightly creepy nickname. As such, it's no real surprise he's one of the most unassuming looking characters in the series - with, of course, the exception of his meticulously groomed facial hair.
In The Show
The perfect facial hair is back at it again with Mother's Milk's show adaptation. Laz Alonso looks like he was literally a CGI creation made to perfectly match his comic equivalent - although significantly less brawny, in order to not make the superheroes look comparatively minuscule, and with slightly nicer hair, likely in order to match the sweet beard.
Is it worth arguing that both versions are supposed to look so normal in order to hide a really messed up secret? Without giving spoilers, maybe just.
