White Collar Season 5: 5 Things We Can Expect

2. A 'Should I Go Or Should I Stay?' Redux

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0Ia2hEZfCw It is not surprising that with everything in chaos Neal might just consider leaving things behind again. At least that is what the official promotional trailer wants us all to think, what with including Mozzie's line about "returning to the life". I think it will be interesting to see this season three theme echoed in this season. If Neal were to seriously consider leaving again, it is under very different circumstances then when he had the U-Boat haul at his disposal. Also, with Neal and Moz having already decided that their hearts belong there in New York, they would need to attempt living under the FBI's nose to have a shot at their own version of true paradise. Still, this time getting Neal to 'stay' is not going to be about hunting him down, or getting him to give up anything, and more about proving that the FBI really is 'the good guys'. While, it is obvious that for the story to continue, crime-fighting's finest must win back Neal's trust, I look forward to seeing how the gap€”between the teary-eyed Neal we last saw when we left him and the confident crime catcher we know he can be€”is bridged once more.
