10 TV Shows That Ended In 2015

4. Hannibal

Ok, Hannibal hasn't technically, officially, 100% ended, but for the foreseeable future it really does seem as though things are over for Dr Lecter on the small screen. NBC's take on the cannibalistic psychiatrist received plenty of critical acclaim during its three seasons, noted for a mix of some great acting from Mads Mikkelsen in the lead role, as well as being beautifully shot, and of course an extremely violent gore-fest. While this in turn led it to gaining a cult fandom - 'Fannibals' - the ratings for the show were consistently quite low, and NBC decided to cancel it this year, with Season 3 being the last so far. Creator Bryan Fuller (who has something of a track record when it comes to cult shows getting cancelled) does have hopes for a continuation on another network or streaming service, but as it stands Hannibal is done.
