10 Doctor Who Stars You Didn’t Know Were In HUGE Movies

8. Jenna Coleman (Captain America: The First Avenger)

Before she was a companion (but after she was on Emmerdale), Jenna Coleman played a very small role in one of the biggest film franchises of all time.

2011's Captain America: The First Avenger is the fifth instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's where we first meet Captain Steve Rogers, the human piece of spaghetti who saves the world after he gets injected with a magic hunky potion.

Before he turns into a total beefcake, Rogers accompanies his best friend (and definitely not secret lover) Bucky Barnes to the futuristic World Expo. Here, Bucky has arranged a couple of hot dates for the pair, and one of these women is none other than the future Clara Oswald.

She might not be in the film for very long, but Coleman does get to give us her best American accent with a few lines of dialogue. It's... alright. There really isn't much evidence to judge it on.

This was also her first-ever film role, which is not too shabby at all.
