10 Doctor Who Stars You Didn’t Know Were In HUGE Movies

The phenomenal 2008 film In Bruges deals with two hitmen (Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson) hiding out in the titular Belgian city after a job gone wrong.

Farrell and Gleeson are terrific, but a lot of the praise for this film goes to Ralph Fiennes' turn as the psychotic, foul-mouthed mob boss Harry Waters.

Harry serves as the main antagonist in the picture, eventually travelling to Bruges to confront his wayward employees. He's an absolutely fantastic character, and we almost learnt even more about him in a famous deleted scene.

The sequence in question shows a young Waters taking revenge for the death of Gleeson's character's wife. He walks into a police station, confronts a corrupt cop, and decapitates him in one fell swoop.

Also, he's played by Matt Smith.

Smith (who looks about ten years old in the clip) embodies Fiennes' character to a tee.

Unfortunately, his part was removed from the final product, possibly because the thought of a gangster slashing a policeman's head off in the middle of a police station was too far-fetched even for this wild movie.
