10 Doctor Who Stars You Didn’t Know Were In HUGE Movies

David Tennant has been in a lot of stuff.

As well as his time spent as the Tenth (and Fourteenth) Doctor, Tennant has been in the Harry Potter franchise, served as the villain in Marvel's Jessica Jones, and voiced a cow alongside John Cena in the kids movie Ferdinand.

Sticking with animated films, let's look at the time he was in the smash-hit How to Train Your Dragon... for about 30 seconds.

Spitelout Jorgenson is the Viking chief's second-in-command, and the father of Hiccup's enemy-turned-friend Snotlout. He has maybe three lines in the first film, none in the second, and then about three more in the third.

That's the best use you could come up with for David Tennant? Really?

To get a larger fix of Tennant and dragons, you'll need to go to the animated series known as DreamWorks Dragons, a spinoff of the film series. Tennant reprises his role as Spitelout in over a dozen episodes of the show, adding some much-needed weight to his underdeveloped character.
