10 Doctor Who Stars You Didn’t Know Were In HUGE Movies
4. John Barrowman (The Untouchables)
We've talked about some very minor parts up to this point, but things are about to get even more ridiculous.
1987's The Untouchables tells the story of famous law enforcement agent Elliot Ness, and his quest to bring down Al Capone. Ness is played by Kevin Costner, and Capone by Robert De Niro. There's also additional support from the likes of Sean Connery and Andy Garcia, as well as a very brief appearance from the future Captain Jack Harkness.
John Barrowman isn't actually credited on the movie - instead, we have to turn to his autobiography, Anything Goes, for confirmation of his role.
In a passage talking about his early career, Barrowman writes about his experience as an extra on the film:
"My few seconds in frame were as an uncredited extra in the scene where Sean Connery is recruiting Andy Garcia... I'm on camera from the rear, standing in tight grey sweats with my hands folded behind my back."
So not only was he not credited, but his face doesn't even appear in the movie!
Barrowman describes this as a "butt part", which is a very accurate way of putting it.
