10 MORE Times Doctor Who Appeared In Other TV Shows
2. Good Omens 2
Not only is this list double Tennant, it's double Tennant and double Sheen! You lucky lot.
The Scotsman and the Welshmen starred together in the Amazon Studios adaptation of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's Good Omens, with Sheen as the angel Aziraphale, and Tennant as the demon Crowley.
These unlikely pals must work together to prevent the coming of the Antichrist, while also dodging the combined forces of heaven and hell, who are both out to get them. No pressure then.
After a highly successful first season in 2019, Good Omens returned in 2023 for round two, and this season was stuffed with references to Tennant's side hustle as a time traveller.
There a special container shaped like a fly that's "bigger on the inside" (where have you heard that before?), and a scene where Aziraphale listens to Moonlight Serenade by Glenn Miller, a song heard several times in the Ninth Doctor story The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances.
There's also a blatant mention of a Doctor Who annual, and another obvious nod where Crowley briefly dons a fez, which sent Twitter into a total meltdown.
If Matt Smith ever does something where he wears 3D glasses, then the cycle will be complete.
