1 Up & 5 Downs From AEW Battle Of The Belts VI

1. Still No AEW World Title!

They're taking the p*ss now.

AEW has produced six Battle Of The Belts specials without putting the World Title on the card even once. Six of the f*ckers! As a result, they rarely carry any sense of importance with the audience, and become instantly skippable once people realise that the top champ won't be featured.

Clash Of The Champions, this ain't. It isn't even as must-see as Saturday Night's Main Event was towards the end, and that's damning. BOTB VI could've done with some sort of showing from MJF - even sticking him out there for an in-ring promo that feeds into something that'll happen on Dynamite would've done.

Something/anything other than making BOTB look like the kind of date top champions can't be arsed to turn up for. Surely Tony Khan realises that this is rendering the occasional specials pointless to a lot of his core fanbase?

Ridiculous.
