1 Up & 5 Downs From AEW Battle Of The Belts VI

2. “The Elite”

Technically, The Elite appeared on Battle Of The Belts. Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks weren't there though. Hell, Don Callis wasn't even wheeled out for an appearance. Instead, Brandon Cutler and Michael Nakazawa got some mic time backstage with Alex Marvez to fire back at the BCC.

Seriously?!

Cutler and Nakazawa are hardly the most dynamic of AEW personalities, so this segment was weak. They called the Blackpool Combat Club "bullies", and weirdly said they'd "been bullied their entire lives" generally. OK then? The whole skit was a colossal waste of time.

There's no clamour for Cutler and Nakazawa vs. Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli on Dynamite. What's going through AEW brain boxes if this tripe is something they think fans want to see on the 'A' show? Again, weak is the perfect word to sum it up.
