Perhaps it says everything about BOTB VI that this minor plot point was the only real positive coming out of the show. Mark Briscoe cut a backstage promo about recent events at ROH's Supercard Of Honor, then shared a handshake with old friend Jay Lethal before being accosted by the rest of Lethal's gang.

Apparently, he's now an unwilling stablemate of Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh.

Tossing Mark into the mix as a hoodwinked accomplice who only wanted to be friendly with someone he's known for 20 years could work. It's definitely curious that AEW decided to air this on Battle Of The Belts (where people won't see it) as opposed to Rampage or Dynamite though.

Lethal and Jarrett have been a nice surprise package in All Elite since coming together, but Briscoe's inclusion should freshen things up again. If nothing else, seeing him work trios bouts with the pair will give him something meaningful to do on TV.
