The last failed try in for both in NXT, Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger were a dependable NXT television act on a hiding to nowhere in a division dominated by The Ascension and their Road Warrior squashes.

Things looked particularly bleak for the duo when the belts shifted first to The Lucha Dragons and then to fellow makeshift pairing Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy. Passed over despite their limitless ability in the ring, the pair were reduced to squash duties before separating in mid-2015 in a split that would mark a huge turning point for both.

Still on a hunt for his perfect partner, Jordan would align with Chad Gable and tear through the developmental tag ranks off the back of an exhilarating rivalry with The Revival.

Meanwhile, Tye would finally stumble upon the gimmick that rewarded his years of struggle. Adopting the 'Perfect 10' nickname, he wasn't given the results to back up the persona but got the enjoyable act over by sheer force of will.
