10 "Shocking" WWE Moments Ruined By The Internet

Asuka switching over to SmackDown Live at Elimination Chamber could - and perhaps should - have been one of the great shocking moments on the road to WrestleMania 34, but in the end, it was one many of us saw coming.

This is partly because WWE showed its hand somewhat in the weeks leading up to the event. Since the Empress of Tomorrow hadn't yet formally challenged Alexa Bliss, you began to wonder whether she wasn't setting her sights elsewhere.

But it was the online reports to this effect that began to surface on the eve of the show that really sealed the deal. Suddenly, it became clear not just that she would be jumping ship, but exactly when and where she would be doing it.

Granted, nothing bad has really come of this in the long run. If anything, Asuka versus Charlotte was one of the highlights of WrestleMania. It's just a shame we all saw the 'surprise' decision coming.
