10 Most Action-Packed WWE Raw Endings Ever

1. €œIs It The Old Stone Cold!?€

The second spot from the Invasion storyline takes the top spot in this list as the whole world got confirmation of what it already knew- that being that Steve Austin should have never turned heel at Wrestlemania 17. Following the merger of WCW and ECW, the WWF was presented (correctly) as being at a severe disadvantage going into the Invasion PPV. Given the perfect opportunity to wipe the Austin heel turn clean and bring back the return of the €œold Stone Cold€, the WWF appeared to have taken it when Austin returned on the go-home edition of Raw prior to Invasion as the catalyst that gave the WWF a fighting chance. Fighting through brawls in the backstage area, Austin strode down to the ring, literally decimating the entire Alliance with no fewer than 7 Stunners. The crowd went berserk. Jim Ross went berserk. It looked like the perfect move... until WWE made the awful mistake they made at Wrestlemania again by pulling a swerve and having Austin cost the WWF the match at Invasion and join the Alliance. An awful, awful move that took a lot of momentum away from the Invasion storyline that it frankly never recovered from. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M62ur7YL5t0&feature=player_detailpage#t=284 A few of the more eagle-eyed of you might have noticed these top 4 picks all share a factor: that being a Steve Austin entrance to a massive pop. That was not by intention. Rather, it is proof that Austin deserves his spot amongst the highest echelons of pro-wrestling history as a man whom consistently inspired truly memorable moments, more so than any other superstar ever. Austin himself has said many times that to make it in the wrestling business you need to €œturn the volume up€ whenever you enter an arena. It's advice the current superstars could do with heeding as not enough of them turn that volume up high enough. Were there any moments you think we missed? Let us know in the comments below.
