10 AEW ALL OUT 2021 Impulse Reactions

8. Jon Moxley Vs. Satoshi Kojima

It was right after Satoshi Kojima had met Jon Moxley's violence with some f*cking face-biting of his own that Excalibur reminded the viewing audience that the NJPW legend had managed to win both the G1 Climax and AJPW's Champion Carnival at points in his career.

The call was about re-establishing how much gas Kojima still had in the tank, and what he was prepared to go through to stop the wrath of the former AEW Champion. Because Moxley had bucketloads of it to play with.

He's been getting angrier and angrier of late, and it all feels there to feed into an eventual heel turn that will be completely justified even if it stings to watch. The man's been screwed a lot this year, and was prepared to take it out on his opponent simply for being his opponent. Kojima wasn't Hiroshi Tanahashi, but he offered something altogether different for Moxley to figure out.

And figure it out he did - two Paradigm Shifts ensured that he "scalped" his foe, but more terror awaited. Minoru Suzuki arriving on the scene provided the show with an unexpected bombshell and Moxley with a potential new person to keep him up at night beyond his newborn baby.
