10 AEW Stars Who Are Perfect For Ring Of Honor
8. Tay Conti
AEW have done Tay Conti dirty.
Since allowing her real-life relationship with Sammy Guevara to bleed into the on screen world of AEW, the company have allowed her to be vilified. And for what? Having a relationship with a fellow, attractive young person?
Her presentation has been, quite frankly, disgusting and is the sort of treatment the ‘Diva’s’ were subjected to in WWE in the early '00s. They even had Dan Lambert, the voice of the anti-woke brigade, actually slut-shame her on national TV. To double down on her mistreatment, since her on screen alignment with her boyfriend, Conti hasn’t had a match on Dynamite or Rampage in 2022.
What happened to the fiery competitor from last year? Whilst a little rough around the edges, Conti had shown enough to make people take notice and it felt like she was being primed as a breakout star in a division that needs one. Now, she couldn’t feel further from it.
Removing her from Guevara’s side and letting her get back to what she was thriving at, away from the AEW fans who have turned on her, would be the smart move and she could not only get the fresh start she needs, but the development alongside seasoned veterans like Deeb and Martinez.
AEW have a star on their hands. They just need to let her become one.
