Thanks to this, they have a significant focus on comedy, and you'd think that would make Orange Cassidy a prime time player for them, but that will never happen.

Cassidy has been working his hilarious half-assed wrestler gimmick for years now, and he's essentially perfected it. This is a man who made his name playing a Fire Ant in Chikara's The Colony, so you know he doesn't take himself too seriously. However, his comedy wrestling is something he gets a lot of creative freedom with, and he'd have to sacrifice that in WWE.

Imagine Orange Cassidy on SmackDown or Raw; there's no way that his gimmick would be used effectively, as WWE creative would probably struggle with something as goofy yet subtle as this.

Cassidy has the creative freedom he needs where he is, but in WWE, he'd go from the equivalent of stand up comedy to pie-throwing jokes and pulling silly faces. That is something that will keep him forever out of their reach.
