10 AEW Wrestlers As You've NEVER Seen Them Before

7. The Butcher

Unless you're a committed fan of wailing metalcore (and admittedly, wrestling's mid-2000s obsession with the genre created many), you might not realise that AEW's bemonocled and mustachioed Butcher lives a second life as a cool-as-courgettes rhythm guitarist for Buffalo, NY band Every Time I Die. The Blade's great mate - known as Andy Williams when he's thrashing out in dungarees - was a founding member of the troupe way back in 1998, who've went on to release eight studio albums over the past two decades.

Obviously, if you are a metalcore fanatic, the sight of a decidedly less menacing but equally rock 'n' roll Butcher in his denims won't be at all surprising. You can check out Every Time I Die's music here.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
