10 AEW Wrestlers Poised To Break Out In 2021

1. Powerhouse Hobbs

Powerhouse Hobbs, or Will Hobbs as he then was, took the Dark platform as a way of earning himself a full-time spot on the AEW roster. That in itself should be sufficient reasoning for his inclusion on this list, but instead, he's here because of his recent heel turn, and association with Team Taz.

As far as Hobbs' turn is concerned, it was very much a case of the attention to detail prior to this. Sure, he may have saved Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin from beatdowns in the past, but had he ever laid his hands on a Team Taz member? No. It was a keen detail that made sense in hindsight, and thus, the renamed Powerhouse Hobbs has found his footing on AEW's roster.

Joining the ranks of Lance Archer, Miro, and Team Taz pal Brian Cage as a hoss of AEW, Hobbs is now in a position to become a huge player in the promotion. He's someone the company have made a star out of, despite him being in the business for just over a decade. Only elite players can join the ranks of a Taz-helmed stable.

Hobbs will do huge things in AEW come 2021. Watch this space.
