7. Jungle Boy
The constant mentions of Luke Perry being Jungle Boy's dad at the beginning of 'Jungle Jack's' AEW tenure were a tad tedious at times, but the Jurassic Express member has persevered through to create a legacy of his own in honour of his late father.
He's done so in incredible fashion, too.
Aligned with Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt, Jungle Boy has often been labelled as the breakout member of the team, which is quite the feat when you're the middle man between a 60+ million year old dinosaur with a Master's degree, and a pint-sized grappler who broke his leg one time. Still, Jungle Boy has wrestled his way into the hearts of AEW fans with his in-ring work being some of the best on offer in the company.
His stand-out singles attractions against Chris Jericho, MJF, and Cody Rhodes made Jungle Boy into a true star. He's one of a handful who has been slowly carving their status in the background instead of being at the forefront of our minds every week.
Both 2019 and 2020 were great for 'Jungle Jack', but 2021 needs to be the year he properly smashes through the proverbial glass ceiling. A reign as TNT Champion could easily be on the cards if all goes to plan.
