10 AEW Wrestlers Who Are In Big Trouble

8. Jay Lethal

Joining AEW in the thick of the never-ending influx of talent that made their presence known in The Land of All Elite towards the backend of 2021, Jay Lethal's surprise debut at last year's Full Gear event seemed destined to underwhelm out of the gates.

At a time when being a gifted in-ring worker was pretty much the bare minimum on a simply stacked roster, the former ROH World Champion did very little to establish himself as a must-have acquisition early on, putting on decent-but-forgettable losing efforts against the likes of Sammy Guevara and Ricky Starks.

And his alignment with Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh has hardly catapulted all three into All Elite superstardom either. A never-ending war with Sting and Darby Allin at least resulted in a somewhat enjoyable Full Gear No DQ brawl as Lethal joined forces with a returning Jeff Jarrett to take on the face-painted duo.

But it's becoming clearer and clearer that Lethal doesn't have the brightest of All Elite futures outside of tagging alongside Double JJ for the odd plunder brawl and repeatedly being used as a bland punching bag for the stars TK really wants to get over.
