10 AEW Wrestlers Who Are In Big Trouble

7. Darby Allin

Towards the latter stages of 2021, Darby Allin had just come off the back of being CM Punk's first opponent in seven years at All Out and an absolute clinic opposite MJF at Full Gear.

In 2022, he's current being battered by masked Factory members and has been warring with Jay Lethal and his group of frustrating pain in the asses.

Again, there have been a few highlights; his ladder swanton onto some steel chairs against Jeff Hardy likely ranks as one of the most epic spots of the year.

But away from those brief instances of jaw-dropping chaos, Allin has largely felt like an afterthought.

Sure, he's picked up his fair share of victories, besting everyone from Lethal to Brody King. Yet, it's hard to escape the feeling that when he's not going into battle with The Icon, Allin feels entirely directionless as a singles star.

With MJF currently holding the top strap in the company, an epic running back of the pair's Full Gear masterclass would be money - but only if Khan actually commits to re-establishing his once-mega-hot human crash test dummy as a performer you can really take seriously in the main event.
