10 AEW Wrestlers Who Have Been Booked Terribly In 2022

6. The Dark Order

During Brodie Lee's transcendent run as leader of the Dark Order, he fixed a very broken thing. Wallowing in the aftermath of the infamous Elite beatdown, the 'Exalted One' gave them a purpose and a sense of danger. After the tragic and untimely death of Brodie Lee, the Dark Order became a beacon of friendship in AEW.

They had a prominent role in the restoration and elevation of Hangman Page, refusing to give up on a man who had given up on himself. In the midst of it all, John Silver began to get so over that he appeared on a Pay Per View. It was working.

Then, for some reason, Tony Khan got bored of it.

To be fair, three years is a long time for a faction to stay together, and for all their geeky charm, the Dark Order aren't the New Day. They served their purpose a long time ago, but the disinterest that has been shown to their booking this year has been unfortunate. Members have left the company to seek better opportunities on the indies, and John Silver couldn't look further away from the surprise break out prospect he was a year ago.

Laziness has led to apathy, and did anyone really care when Stu Grayson popped his hand into the shot last week?
