10 ALMOST Impossible Wrestling Comebacks That Might Actually Happen

1. Daniel Bryan

As noted in this article's introduction, Daniel Bryan may indeed take ownership of his life and career as soon as his current WWE contract expires, but how different could the company's future be if he makes a safe success of his return?

Should Bryan actually make good on his throwaway remarks and get right back to competitive action as many believe he will, there's no doubt he will become the most valuable available wrestler in the world overnight.

New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor would be the obvious home bases for him to ply his trade, but he's certain to be inundated with multiple offers that could proffer countless dream matches most thought completely off the table.

Unprecedented as it would be, if he could 'prove' himself physically recovered, WWE would have to give serious consideration to reneging on their original commitment to the doctor that refused to clear him for action.

Bryan was the last genuine main event superstar WWE had, and they barely got another year out of him following his WrestleMania 30 ascension. The reward may top the risk if they suddenly found themselves short of a WrestleMania main event several years from now.
