4. Elevating The Intercontinental Title

While Scott Hall may have never captured a world title, his historic runs with the WWF Intercontinental Championship as Razor Ramon still remain some of the most captivating matches to watch to this day.

The first wrestler to capture the ‘workhorse title’ a record-setting four times, Razor Ramon’s battles with Shawn Michaels and Diesel over the belt would elevate it to a whole new level of prominence, cementing Razor’s place as one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions in WWE history.

As previously mentioned, “The Heartbreak Kid” and “The Bad Guy’s” 5-star WrestleMania X classic was centered around the then-disputed title, after Michaels was stripped of the belt without having been defeated in-between the ropes. “Mr. WrestleMania” would continue peacocking around with his own copy of the Intercontinental Championship before being decidedly defeated by Razor Ramon during the fantastic contest.

While Hall may have been less graceful as WCW World Television Champion (a reign that ended with himself and Kevin Nash literally binning the belt on the 29 November 1999 episode of WCW Nitro), his run as Intercontinental Champion offers fans a glimpse at the world championship reign Hall never got the chance to have.
